The meaning of the word «Nature» is «Origin» and ‘Essence’. We often refer to the external aspects of Nature, such as the Earth and Environmental Sciences, without considering the individual Nature of each being. My work is to convey NATURE as part of our lives and not as something external, dissolving the idea of separation that also underlies the concepts of Matter and Energy, Science and Spirituality, or Reason and Intuition.
To help us experience Nature as an integral part of our lives, I offer activities designed to awaken our ‘Ecological Self’ as part of our network of mutual interdependence, in which, through self-care and connection with our surroundings, we become more aware of the importance of caring for, valuing, respecting and regenerating both our natural and inner environments:
- Interpretative trails based on Earth Sciences and Biodiversity
- Outdoor activities that encourage an appreciation of and connection with the natural world, such as nature journal workshops
- Activities designed to connect with nature through mindfulness, bodywork or breathing techniques, such as forest bathing, nature meditation, ecosomatics, etc.
- Activities that foster self-awareness of our inner nature and personal self-care as a way of living in harmony with the seasons, life transitions, emotions, etc., thereby strengthening our connection with cyclical patterns and natural rhythms
